Hebei AI Computing Center officially launched and operated

The first fully stack autonomous and controllable AI computing power center in Hebei

Gathering Data in Langfang and Enjoying the Future with the Intelligence. On the afternoon of October 13th, the first fully stack autonomous and controllable artificial intelligence computing center in Hebei Province-Hebei AI Computing Center, was officially launched and put into operation.

Hebei AI Computing Center has invested 510 million Chinese yuan and is located in the Big Data Industrial Park of Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The center adopts a multi-dimensional computing architecture combining artificial intelligence and general computing, using a prefabricated modular data center construction plan, with a planned 300P computing capacity. The first phase of the project has a computing capacity of 100P (equivalent to 500,000 high-performance computers operating simultaneously). After its launch, it provides inclusive computing services to artificial intelligence enterprises in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, supporting business innovation and pushing forward the development of the artificial intelligence industry.

In recent years, the data industry in Langfang has developed rapidly, with leading companies such as Huawei, Runze, and China Unicom gathering in Langfang, laying a solid foundation for the rapid development of the artificial intelligence industry. Dong Liping, Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Langfang City, introduced that the Hebei AI Computing Center will effectively promote the integration of digital economy and real economy in Langfang, strengthen the real economy by digital economy, and assist in the high-quality development of Langfang’s modern commercial logistics, electronic information and other leading industries.

The Hebei AI Computing Center project adopts Huawei’s full stack solution, which is a completely independent and innovative software and hardware platform. After the center is launched and put into operation, an architecture with one center and four platforms will be formed. The AI computing center will bear the construction of infrastructure, software infrastructure, and hardware infrastructure. The four major platforms include public computing power platform, application innovation incubation platform, industry aggregation development platform, scientific research innovation and talent training platform.

At the launch ceremony of the Hebei AI Computing Center and the Innovation and Development Conference of the Electronic Information Industry, 12 research institutions and enterprises, including the Brain and Intelligence Laboratory of Tsinghua University and Shenjiang Wanguo Data Information Co., Ltd., settled in the Hebei AI Computing Center. 12 research institutions and enterprises, including Zhan Tianyou College of Beijing Jiaotong University and Beijing Xingtiandi Information Technology Co., Ltd., have released a joint solution for Hebei AI Computing Center.

Hebei AI Computing Center has joined the New Generation Computing Power Network Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and the joint laboratory between Hebei AI Computing Center and Beijing Jiaotong University has been unveiled.
